Ramganj Mandi is a city and a municipality in Kota district in the Indian state of Rajasthan.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census[1], Ramganj Mandi had a population of 41,784. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Ramganj Mandi has an average literacy rate of 68%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 75%, and female literacy is 60%. In Ramganj Mandi, 16% of the population is under 10 years of age. The city is situated on Delhi-Bombay Railway line, so its well connected to all major cities. Soon it also will be connected to Bhopal via rail. New rail lines are setting up. Soon it also become junction due to crossing of Delhi-Mumbai Rail line with Delhi-Bhopal. City is very famous for Kota, a stone used in flooring, and coriander seeds used in cooking as spices. Kota is the nearest Airport just 72 km away.
